Maren Uthaug is the product of a Norwegian mother, a Sami father, and a Danish childhood. She debuted in 2013 with Ellers går det godt [Things Are Great Otherwise], a critically praised graphic novel. The same year, she won Politiken’s national comic strip competition with the strip Ting jeg gjorde [Stuff I Did] and since then the paper has featured the daily strip in its culture section.
Mother to three lovely girls, age 11, 8 and 6. Lives with her partner Allan. Forgot to get married.
